The team at The Foot Clinic is pleased to announce our
involvement with Shoes for Planet Earth a not for profit
organisation that has been set up to distribute recycled running shoes to needy people in local and international communities.
Shoes collected at The Foot Clinic will be distributed to local charities, projects run by the Salvation Army and the Heart Foundation and overseas communities in countries including South Africa.
What you can do….
- Clean your runners
- Tie them together so we don’t lose one
- Make sure the shoes have no holes (including the soles)
- Drop them into the clinic to our collection bin
We will send the shoes off to Sydney to the
Shoes for Planet Earth collection centre where they will be distributed to a needy cause.
